Stanno Studs
2
Which equipment are you looking for?
Stanno studs come in two types: full aluminium or a mix of aluminium and nylon. Your choice depends mostly on where you play and what feels best for grip and stability. Full aluminium studs last longer and work well on soft, wet grass fields. They give good traction and grip in the ground.
The mix of aluminium and nylon gives more cushioning and flex. This makes them great if you want more comfort without losing stability. This type is also lighter, which may help you move faster during games. Both types work well on natural grass. On very wet or bumpy fields, full aluminium often gives better grip.
Each set of Stanno studs has 12 pieces: 8 studs of 13 mm and 4 of 16 mm in length. These sizes fit most football boots with screw-in stud systems. The longer studs go at the back for extra grip when pushing off. Thanks to their standard thread, Stanno studs fit almost any football boot that takes replaceable studs.
The layout with different lengths gives a good mix of grip and support. The 13 mm studs at the front help with speed and control. The 16 mm studs at the back give stability when stopping and turning. You can replace the sets quickly without special tools. This gets you ready for your match with little effort.
Stanno studs are made to last through tough use. The aluminium type resists wear best, especially on wet or muddy grass where rubber studs wear down fast. The mix of aluminium and nylon gives extra bounce and comfort during long games while still lasting a long time.
These materials balance weight and strength well. Lighter studs help you run more smoothly. The solid aluminium gives top grip on slippery fields. This gives you more control with every move, no matter the field condition.
When the sharp edges of your studs wear down or the tread is almost gone, it's time for new ones. Worn studs cut down on grip and can harm the screw fitting or your shoe sole. Check your studs often to avoid problems during play.
To replace them, just unscrew the old studs and firmly screw in new ones by hand or with a basic stud key. To make them last longer, clean them after use and keep them dry. This stops dirt and water from damaging the thread.
The compact set with aluminium studs works best if you play often on soft grass and need good stability. The mixed set with nylon and aluminium offers more comfort and works well for those who play on different types of natural grass.
For players who want quality without high costs, Stanno gives great value. No matter your skill level or how often you play, there's a set that fits your needs. This helps you get the most from your boots without spending too much.
