The Classic AG TT II is an all-round artificial grass ball for players aged 15 and older. It is size 5, weighs between 410 and 450 grams, and is ideal for both training and official matches. The Classic Energy TT II is similar in size and weight but offers a slightly softer ball feel, making it ideal for intensive training sessions. For younger players, there are lighter models: the Classic AG Light II is perfect for players up to 15 years old, while the Classic AG Super Light II is ideal for children aged around 10 to 11. Both versions also come in size 5, but with a lighter weight of approximately 350 grams and 290 grams respectively.

Which ball suits your team?

When choosing the right artificial grass ball, it’s especially important to consider size, weight, and age. For players up to and including 11 years old, we recommend the Derbystar Classic AG Super Light II. This ball is light enough to help develop proper kicking technique without overloading muscles or joints. For the age group between 12 and 15, the Classic AG Light II is a better fit due to its slightly heavier weight, which better matches their strength and coordination.

Coaches of older youth and adult teams will do best with the Classic AG TT II or Classic Energy TT II. Both models feature official match-quality sealing, are size 5, and comply with international standards regarding weight and circumference. This makes them suitable for use in KNVB matches as well as regular training sessions.
