While the HOKA Challenger 7 already excels with a lighter upper, enhanced cushioning, and a grip pattern reminiscent of a gravel bike tire, the 8 goes a step further in comfort and protection. More foam has been integrated into the molded EVA midsole for added comfort on long distances. The fit and stability have also been improved thanks to a redesigned last in the forefoot and instep. Additionally, the Challenger 8 features a softer ankle collar, a reinforced rubber toe cap, and a completely new outsole with multidirectional 4 mm lugs for even better grip. This remains comfortable even on wet and uneven terrain.
