The
spike for fast off-road racing. The adidas Adizero Avanti
XC is a race-ready spike
designed for speed and stability on
challenging cross-country terrain. This lightweight racing shoe
combines responsive cushioning with
aggressive traction and an aerodynamic upper for top performance
on muddy, wet or
uneven surfaces.

The entire midsole is made of Lightstrike Pro,
both under the forefoot and heel. This superfoam
absorbs impact and reduces fatigue during longer races, while a
continuous spike plate with zigzag construction supports the
push-off and provides extra forward momentum. The result is a
smooth and explosive gait from
start to finish.

The upper is made of recycled polyester mesh, with
material added only where support is needed. Elsewhere, the upper
has been deliberately omitted for maximum ventilation and
weight savings. The
ADIZERO Slinglaunch construction at the
heel provides a secure lock-in and
stable fit during tempo changes and descents. The Lighttraxion outsole with spike plate

provides reliable traction on varying

surfaces such as grass, mud and gravel. This sole is designed

to maintain speed in all

conditions.
