With a choice between a 46 mm and a more compact 42 mm variant, you can always choose the size that fits your wrist. Despite the robust build the watch remains relatively light: 44 grams (46 mm) and 38 grams (42 mm) without the band. A nylon band keeps weight low, while the silicone band offers extra stability. The APEX 4 features extensive landscape and topographic maps with street, trail, and POI names. Navigation can be done with turn-by-turn directions, pins, and Back-to-Start, all operable via the touchscreen or the digital crown and buttons. The battery is a strong point: up to 65 hours (46 mm) or 41 hours (42 mm) in Endurance GPS mode, and respectively 24 and 15 days of daily use. Music storage (32 GB) and Bluetooth connectivity with headphones make it possible to train without a phone. In terms of performance the APEX 4 offers everything COROS is known for: EvoLab analysis, running and FTP tests, recovery indication, HRV, and extensive sensor support such as optical heart rate, SpO₂, ECG, barometer and dual-frequency GPS. The watch also supports hands-free calling thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker, and activity alert sounds are played via the watch speaker. With more than 50 sport profiles including running, trail, cycling, climbing, swimming, winter sports and indoor training, the APEX 4 focuses on versatility. Daily functions like sleep tracking, stress, notifications, weather info and safety alerts are standard.
