The Garmin Forerunner 70 is a user-friendly GPS running watch for athletes who want more insight into their training and recovery. Thanks to the bright AMOLED touchscreen you can easily read your stats, while features like GPS, pace, distance and wrist heart rate measurement support you on every run. Advanced training features help you train smarter and more purposefully.

With the daily recommended workouts you receive sessions that adapt to your performance and recovery. Working toward a specific goal? Garmin Coach training plans provide extra support, from beginner run/walk programs to intensive schedules for experienced runners.

The Forerunner 70 also gives you more insight into your health and recovery. Features like HRV status, training readiness and training status help determine when you're ready for an intense session and whether your training load is balanced. Each morning you also get an overview of your sleep, recovery and training status via the Morning Report.

During runs you benefit from extensive running dynamics such as cadence, stride length and ground contact time. The watch also measures your running power directly from the wrist so you can better pace your effort. Besides running the Forerunner 70 offers more than 80 sport profiles, including cycling, swimming and strength training.

With battery life up to 13 days in smartwatch mode and up to 23 hours in GPS mode you worry less about charging. You also receive smart notifications from your smartphone and safety and tracking features allow your location to be shared in case of an incident.
